Are you in need of a fun filled relaxing day with the chance to unwind? The 25th Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival gives you a chance to race, relax and be entertained!
Release your stress on the water by entering one of our Challenge Cups! Each cup represents Ottawa’s diverse community and local business sector with divisions for education, health care, youth, community and many more. Build a team of colleagues, friends and family and race against your peers.
When not competing on the water, explore the festival grounds to see all the enticing attractions. Relax on the beach, centre the mind and spirit with yoga or browse through unique items at our silent auction and vendors. Feeling thirsty or hungry at the end of the day? Enjoy a cold beverage on the beach or follow your nose to your favorite treat. As the sun sets, let loose and rock the night away at our free concert series!
Registration includes:
- Entry into the Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival, June 21-24 (racing on June 23-24)
- Special rate for non-profits and registered charities
- Two team practices with certified coaches
- Opportunity for top fundraising teams to qualify to race in the Charity Challenge Cup
- Access to free concert series, onsite bars and numerous activities
- Team site to hang out between races, decorate, promote your organization and have fun
- Invitation for all team members to the Opening Ceremony and Parade of Champions
- Entry into team t-shirt, team site and team spirit competitions
- All equipment provided (boats, paddles, PFDs)
Our focus isn’t only on delivering a memorable festival, we also work hard to give back to the community through the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation. Through the paddlers’ and the festival’s fundraising efforts, we have been able to give back $4.3 million dollars to 48 local charities! The Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation Community Fund allows us to support a variety of local charities and be pro active to the needs of the community.
