We have our core group of Community Association leaders to organize our Information Meeting and our Annual General Meeting (AGM). These people will prepare us to launch the community association officially at our AGM when we vote on our longer-term executive.
If you'd like to get involved, too, we'd love to have you join in!
Huge thanks to those who attended on Saturday, Aug. 24 and to those who are taking on the tasks to get this community association up and running!
Very exciting things are happening in Queensway Terrace South/ Ridgeview! Get involved and see!

A Community Association is Formed
July 29, 2013- Neighbours in Queensway Terrace South / Ridgeview meet to self-organize about traffic and the building of concern on Thorson Ave....and a community association is formed!
Next meeting: Aug.24, 2013 (Saturday), 9:30 a.m- breakfast at Sonny's Bar and Grill.
What is a Community Association?
It’s a group of people who act as a voice for our neighbourhood to the City to take care of issues like traffic, parking, safety. We also plan community events so neighbours can meet each other and build community spirit. We want to make this neighbourhood an even better place to live!
What’s the commitment?
ONE meeting every month for an hour to an hour and a half.
We need a few people to join our core group of dynamic movers and shakers to get us officially launched in November! ONE meeting every month for an hour to an hour and a half.
Students, we need you, too!
This is a great way to get volunteer hours. Sign up to give us a hand with flyers, organizing events, designing posters and online communications.
