Community Meeting on Gun Violence and Related Concerns

We are helping to spread the word that City Councillor Rick Chairelli has invited community members to an important meeting regarding gun violence and policing in our area.

Tuesday, January 13th, 2015
7:30pm - 9:00pm
Bishop Hamilton Montessori School - Gymnasium

2199 Regency Terrace (near the Pinecrest Recreation Complex)

Please join Councillor Chiarelli and Ottawa Police Service representatives for this community gathering. This meeting will allow police to update residents on the progress of investigations and the status of the overall plan to tackle gang violence; and allow residents to learn what they can do to help.

Please note that the Question Period of the meeting will address only questions submitted in advance. To submit a question:

1) Please send your written questions for the Ottawa Police Service to rick.chiarelli@ottawa.ca before 3pm on January 12th. Only submissions with full name, address, and contact information will be accepted.

2) Submitted questions will be viewable to the public on www.rickchiarelli.com in advance of the meeting. (No private information will be shared.)

3) Questions will be sent to Ottawa Police to ensure that they send the appropriate officers to answer the most frequently asked and top-ranked questions with precision.

For more information about the meeting, please contact Councillor Chiarelli’s Office directly at (613) 580-2478 or Rick.Chiarelli@Ottawa.ca.
