Special Advisory: Winter weather parking ban will be in effect

Due to weather conditions, the Winter weather parking ban will be in effect Friday starting at 7 am across Ottawa to complete winter road operations. The end time of the parking ban will be based on the overnight snowfall. Please avoid parking on any streets that are not cleared.

During a winter weather parking ban, residents are reminded that there is no parking on city streets so that crews can plow easily and effectively. Vehicles parked on the street during a winter weather parking ban may be ticketed and towed. On-street parking permit holders are exempt from this restriction.
