Branches offering contactless returns and holds pickup

Starting Monday, February 22, Metcalfe Village, Orléans, and Rosemount branches will offer contactless returns and holds pick up inside the branches. At this time, browsing, public computers, and washrooms will not be available.

Returning Library items

Library materials can be returned at all open branches during hours of operation. All returned items will be quarantined for 72 hours in accordance with provincial requirements. Due to our quarantine processes and modified services, the book drops cannot currently be opened when the branches are closed.

Health and Safety

Due to provincial regulations, branch capacity will be limited.

Mask wearing is mandatory -- inside the branches and while waiting outside.

Returned library material will continue to be quarantined for 72 hours, as per provincial guidelines. Items may continue to appear on your account for up to a week after you return them.

Closed branches and services

Branches that remain closed are Constance Bay, Fitzroy Harbour, Munster, Osgoode, and Vernon. OPL is working to reopen these locations as soon as possible.

The Kiosk Services at the Hunt Club-Riverside Park Community Centre will not be available until further notice as the community centre remains closed.

****

OPL continues to follow direction from the Province of Ontario and guidance from Ottawa Public Health to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
