Open letter to politicians not to campaign at Summer Social

Dear elected members of municipal, provincial and federal government and declared candidates for mayor and municipal government,

We (Queensway Terrace South / Ridgeview community association) are hosting a community social event Saturday June 25th.

Politics as of late has become quite divisive and polarizing.  We would like our Community Summer Social to be an inclusive and safe space for all members of our neighbourhood.

Therefore we kindly ask that you refrain from attending our event for the purpose of campaigning or a photo op.
