We’re looking forward to our next Ward 8 Council meeting! Based on your feedback, we have decided to host this meeting
virtually. This will allow each community association to extend
the invitation to their membership. Please share the following

Please join Councillor Laine Johnson on Thursday June 22nd at 7pm for a virtual meeting to discuss Emergency Preparedness and the vital role of Community Associations. City of Ottawa staff from the Office of Emergency Management will join us to present the Community Emergency Tool Kit – A guide to community preparedness. We will review how to identify assets within local neighbourhoods and wrap up with questions and discussion. This meeting is open to all community members, but the emphasis will be placed on community associations.
