Season launch – part two

Both Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe and the Shenkman Arts Centre
recently announced the second half of their 25/26 seasons. Enjoy
everything from afternoons of live music followed by coffee and treats
to explosive shows for kids and a variety of performances from local
legends and international icons. Tickets are on sale now for Shenkman
Arts Centre and the
general on-sale starts next Tuesday, September 16 for Meridian Theatres @
Centrepointe.

Ottawa Book Awards

Literature lovers mark your calendars! On Wednesday, September 17 we’ll be revealing the 2025 Ottawa Book Awards
shortlist, recognizing the top English and French books from the
previous year. Winners will be announced on Saturday, November 15 at 7
pm at an exciting event hosted by the Ottawa Public Library at Meridian
Theatres @ Centrepointe!

Over 50? Flex your creative muscles with free hour-long workshops at Cumberland Heritage Village Museum.
On September 13 and 14, try out a new skill inspired by heritage
handicrafts and trades, including leatherworking, bookbinding and
printmaking. Join us on Saturday for English workshops and Sunday for
French workshops. Advance registration is required.
