Fraud - Crime Prevention Week

Ottawa Police Service recently celebrated Crime Prevention Week with the theme of Planning Together for Safer Communities and a focus on fraud prevention.  As a part of this initiative they have released resources including this guide prepared by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police: OACP 2016 Crime Prevention Book.

This booklet provides tips to help citizens avoid becoming a victim of various types of fraud including computer frauds such as phishing.
