The Canada Aviation and Space Museum and NAV CANADA invite everyone to a great day of fun and entertainment! Celebrate Canada like never before at this country’s premier aerospace museum, with dynamic activities for the whole family. The Museum is the ideal venue in any weather: sun, rain or summer heat.

Admission is free all day on July 1, but donations are welcome.

It’s time to celebrate! The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum is highlighting Canada’s birthday with lots of exciting activities for the whole family. Special demonstrations will offer visitors the chance to learn about Canadian agriculture and learn about different Canadian breeds of livestock. There will be games, a craft, ice cream making and tasting, as well a chance to sample a Canadian classic: Nanaimo bars.

Admission is free all day on July 1, but donations are welcome.

Dominion Day on the Farm ($)

12 p.m. to 9 p.m.


Enjoy artisanal beer, delicious food, and great local bands as you celebrate Canada's birthday with Dominion City Brewing Co. at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum.

Over a dozen Dominion City beers pouring, including four brand new releases brewed exclusively for Dominion Day.

Great Bands including Dylan Menzie, For Esmé, Jim Bryson, Amanda Rheaume, Telecomo, DADS, and Gentlemen of the Woods

Tickets are $25 ($30 at the door). Stroller-bound kids or babies in arms attend free, children's admission is $5 and includes a maple taffy. Tickets are now on sale.

Canada Science and Technology Museum

Canada Day Activities

Celebrate Canada Day with a variety of fun activities for the whole family! Stroll through the new galleries, and discover how science and technology touches the lives of Canadians. Don’t miss the chance to take part in exciting, hands-on activities—and see the premiere of the new demonstration, Cryo-Genius.

Admission is free all day on July 1, but donations are welcome. Parking fees and ticket fees to THE ART OF THE BRICK exhibition still apply.
